That would explain why the three Pulsars are on loan here, obviously covering whilst WYs own pulsars get sapphire treatment.

These loans could help the Sapphire launch arise relatively soon, possibly by September. I wonder whether the Enviro300s on route 263 are included, or whether these will be displaced by Pulsars from Liverpool garages displaced by Enviro400s recently?
I also wonder whether these Sapphire Pulsars would stray onto Mon-Sat evening journeys on route 370?
This could possible mean 263s returning to full single deck operation again as currently Mon-Fri there's a journey about 16:00 from Piccadillly-Altrincham that is a booked double decker working, not to sure what its full working is or what it does when it gets back to Altrincham as can't catch it to find out due to being in work

I thought that the double deckers at both GL and BT had replaced Dart and Cadets with Mylleniums from GL transferring to other depots to backfill. Where are the displaced Pulsars?
Id love the enviro300 at st helens as id happily let them take pulsars in exchange as they are hell of a lot better than pulsars.

After the Enviro400s at the turn of the year displaced some Pulsars for cascade out of our area, I may have mistakenly supposed that subsequent Enviro400s were displacing more Pulsars. From what you say, I am prepared this might not have materialised after all.

Seeming as no-one has answered you,
When a vehicle is converted to Sapphire status the vehicle goes through a complete overhaul. E-leather seating, Next Stop announcements, Wi-Fi, Plug/USB charging points, White LED destination equipment for the front and full-size rear destination displays as well as a repainted interior and of course a full vehicle repaint.
2 of Wythenshawe's Presidents were out on 19s yesterday afternoon, I spotted them in Wythenshawe Bus Station at about 14:50, one was on a 19 to Altrincham and 5mins later another showed up going to Manchester Airport, I'm guessing these were covering for Pulsars away being converted to Sapphire standards
Wright Cadet 2549 has turned up at St Helens with some front end RTA Damage, not that bad, only a few Pannels needing to be replaced and 1 Window
Dart 2227 parked up in Wythenshawe Depot today.
Front route number showing 245 (Blank destination) whilst side route number showing ML1! (Route ML1 was withdrawn earlier this year.)
