Arriva are being slated online for axing the 16 i also overheard someone insulting them at Picc Gardens on Tuesday it hasnt gone down well.

Seen it, looks repairable but then the chassis could be knackered couldn't it.
Thats it mpte1955,it all depends in what state the chasis is in as anything body wise can be repaired but the chasis cant.
I'm sure the bodywork didn't look that bad when I saw it towed out of the depot a couple of weeks back. Tidied up and now gone for further repair or scrap?

2253 operating on the 263 this afternoon. Also notice that fares will change from this Sunday (6 April) with single fares going up 10p and changes to the North West and North West & Wales network tickets. No changes to the Greater Manchester network tickets.
No details on the Arriva website but the service changes for April 2014 are. 16 withdrawal is confirmed on their website, while minor timetable changes on services 18, 19 and 263. Arriva re-gain the 247 Mon-Sat evening service from Stagecoach, while changes to some morning journeys on service 130.

2253 still hanging on, been the only one left over there for a while now the rest have migrated to Southport & St Helens.
I might be wrong here but I think if it wasn't for the incident with the Pulsar in Manchester I think 2253 would have gone, just seems odd that it hasn't been transferred out yet
