Hattons now have an Enviro200MMC KG11BUS that they've posted on their facebook page.

interesting that they are celebrating 35 years this year. Their first route (Merseytravel contract) 196 started 21 Feb 1988 - timetable link:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1h4Fqfmo...ZYGZx/view

Their initial address was 130 Morley Street in the Cowley Hill area. Although the timetable claims it was operated by Nip-On (the Hattons name was only used later), the daytime service was actually a joint operation with Ogdens initially using 2 Alexander Bodied Leyland Leopards. Think it is fair to say that quite a lot has changed in the industry in that 35 years.

Hopes this helps some members with the history of the company. Apologies if this post is seen as bumping up this thread but I feel that a little bit of history needs to accompany such an anniversary.

That intresting never realised Nip-on and Hattons were same firm
ULP was involved in an accident earlier in the week if not repaired that just leaves AXB as the only Dart in service.
As noted in today's Notices and Proceedings, Hatton's have cancelled the 156 from 16th April. I wonder has this gone to another operator or is the service being revised/withdrawn. The service could do with being retimed on the Lea Green side as it tends to follow other routes along Marshalls Cross Road at similar times.

Sounds like interesting times ahead!
From what I understand HTL will be operating the 156 AM/PM, 33, 35/A and the extended 152 from April and the 38A will be moving over to Arriva. There are changes to the 39A too but remaining with HTL.
