It will have been parked at Bootle most likely, they do run the 144 of a daytime and that has been in the Bootle layover in the past.
Hattons have YAZ 8827 out today on the college A route still in a blue and cream livery.
Looks like MX06 ULP failed yesterday and as been left in st Helen's corporation street over night as it was there this morning around 05:00am
As well as one of the Enviro200s MX06ULP is another one that Swan's Chadderton used to own when they operated various tendered services.

Due to a driver shortage, Hattons Travel will be operating a reduced service on routes 156 and 297 today.

The following trips only will operate:

Route 297

From Kirkby at 08:05, 09:00 and 17:05
From St Helens at 10:00,12:00,15:05 and 16:05
Route 156

From Garswood at 06:27, 08:27, 10:27, 12:27, 13:27, 15:27 and 17:27
They also had notices in their vehicles last week that due to staff shortages, the 12 would be reduced to Hourly from 1430 onwards although confusingly, these notices stated that the last journey of the day was still at 1700 (no times were given as to which journeys would operate).

Every company is suffering with driver shortages at the moment it’s huge. In Manchester coach firms from as far as North Yorkshire have been doing emergency Metrolink replacement work because nobody locally has the drivers.
Hattons are not the only ones.

The 156 is greatly reduced at present as the Evening/Sunday service is also down to 2 hourly due to HTL's staff shortages.

We probably have another couple of weeks of intense service disruption due to staff sickness before it starts to settle down again. This disruption is beyond the control of any company and the staff are just following government guidelines on self isolation.
WX08 DFN has been painted into the Hattons Travel Livery but was involved in a minor RTA near Ashton In Makerfield today, minor damage around the lights on the offside.
