Not heard ewt recently but the last i heard is its up for sale and open to offers.
Is it both the bus and coach side?
Not 100% sure but the rumour was it was the complete company due to the owner wanting to retire.
Be interesting to see what happens if he does go through with a sale.
His as took over and the company doing well
Dart MW52 UCC was seen in Burtonwood on 1 December, on Warrington area service 33. Presumably on hire to Warrington Coachways ??
Scania Omnicity YN54 AHL appears to be freshly repainted into Hattons livery and is today on the 97. Had a ride from Prescot Town Centre into St Helens earlier - very nice set of wheels indeed!
Both Scania Omnicitys are now in Hattons White and Red Livery

Since its now in the Buses Mag i can now confirm that Hattons have bought nearby Ashtons with all bar 1 Coach moving over, Am told the last coach is staying as Ashtons and will be ran by the Managers Son.
Good to hear at least one vehicle will retain the Ashtons livery (the Altano by any chance?) as it's something really quite iconic to St Helens!
I am not sure what Coach it is, One of their Coaches is getting repainted into Hattons Silver Livery as we speak
