But hattons normal machines are the same as arrivas and theres except the "get me there" but they have now got touch screen ones on the wigan routes like cumfybus.
Do Cumfybus have different ticket machines for Merseyside routes? Just wondering if it could be a TfGM thing that they specify for contracts.
They used to but not anymore
Cumfybus now rolled the touch screens all across there full fleet so unless its another company finding the wayfarer machine problematic as the arriva ones are bad too.
It will probably down to how the information is stored and fed back to TFGM. Several operators in Manchester had ticket machines that accepted smart cards/concessionary passes but had to change to the new machines because the didn't report the revenue in the way TFGM wanted. It's probably a clause in the contract.
