With regards to that about the Wirral Park and Ride , the webpage is very vague as to anything at the moment .

Any idea whom maybe behind this idea and also possible locations for secure car parking.
They are currently in the planning stage and are looking for some feedback and comments according to the Facebook page. If you have Facebook https://www.facebook.com/wirralparkandride
The 10 year old boy hit by the HTL bus in Speke was not the only tragic incident in Liverpool today.

A woman, believed to be in her late 50's jumped from the 3rd floor of primark around 6pm this evening. She fell five floors down to the lower ground floor where staff rushed to the scene and the store was evacuated. It is believed to be an act of suicide as the woman was seen near the balcony of the 3rd floor escalators, before moving boxes of gift wrap before taking her own life.

This is the second incident where a person has fell from this area, and it really really really disappoints me to see that both incidents do not mention the hard work and dedication of the staff, especially those of the lower ground floor of which I know many details that I will not go into for personal reasons.
The Psychological trauma that the staff go through when involved or nearby to an incident like the two incidents mentioned above must be a lot to take in.

Another set of workers not mentioned is train drivers who can not stop in time when some one walks out on them or jumps from bridges stations or platforms and recently a lot more often at level crossings.
Pilkington Glass is to halt glass production at a St Helens factory, with the loss of 140 jobs, it has announced.

The firm, which employs 2,500 staff across the UK, said it decided to end manufacturing at the Cowley Hill site after making "huge losses".

It received £5m from the government, to invest in new production techniques and the creation of 254 jobs across its St Helens sites, in December 2011.

The GMB union said the news was a "devastating blow" for the area.

In February staff at the site threatened to strike over plans to freeze salaries or axe pension increases due to the firm's "financial position".
Meanwhile, also in the news but good news this time is that former impera staff are going to be paid money owing to them.
