As noted in the celebrity deaths section its so sad to see so many celebrity pass on , next Thursday is going to be a busy day for Woolton for all the wrong reason's as we celebrate the life of Cilla Black.

To be honest it shocked me that Cilla was coming back to Liverpool to have her funeral , i always it would be down south where she had set up her new life , but seems like she never lost the will to come back to Liverpool one final time .
This is now the BBC trying to save money to the extreme .

The Met Office has been advised by the BBC that the contract for providing weather bulletins has been lost. BBC first took weather bulletins from the Met Office on 14 November 1922.

A replacement is expected to be announced sometime in 2016 , lets see if they are as good at explain weather scenairos as the present Met Office staff.

The Conservatives looking at the sell off of Network Rail.

Which will be the best way forward , the caveat is though the Conservatives are the party in power at this moment in time .

Suppose Labour win the next 2 or 3 General Elections and continue Jeremy's policy of "renationalising" the operations as franchises expire. We could then have a reversal of the present, where Network Rail is effectively nationalised but operations are privatised.
Just going back to politics but in another country Canada for a minute .

Justin Trudeau's Liberal party of Canada has come back from the dead , they had about 35+ seats in the last parliament to take 184 seats in the Canadian House of Parliament in Ottawa.

Justin Trudeau dad was also a Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau making this the first time in Canadian Political History that Father and Son have become prime Minister's.
