Wirral Globe
News story in this morning's Daily Mirror about bus service cuts hitting the poor, the disabled, the elderly and rural communities hardest.

STORY HERE
It wouldnt surprise me seeing that First has seen its value drop by nearly 20% this morning , announce some very deep cuts to services and blame this on the Government , who have just made an almighty mess .
Due to the impending Natural Disaster Hurricane Sandy , the NYSE (Wall St) will be closed , electronic trading will continue where possible.
Stupid driver?

Judge for yourself Here.
What an idiot, and that is being polite.
Im with everybody else on this that a railway crossing is usually a hatched box where you are not allowed to enter unless the exit is clear , something similar to a box junction.
The driver should have been more aware on this one, he shouldnt have crossed until the slow moving vehicle had gone through. This crossing was one he had probably crossed numerous times so really no excuse.
For those of us outside the big cities this is already old news. For example; Cheshire East BC has cut its budget for buses by over 50% already, with more to come.

Rural Bus Services Cut

Already having a major impact upon jobseekers that live in rural areas and employers with businesses in rural areas away from trunk roads.
it would appear an old mate of mine has met a sad end, reading that made me feel sick, who would do such a thing!
