News to me, 412 was reported working over from Derby yesterday and 416 reported by somebody passing Newton Heath today but could be 415 I suppose.

I've had a look on Flickr and it seems 415 was both these reports.

Northern (under Arriva) were supposed to introduce a Boxing Day service on a number of routes but they are unable to come to any agreement with the unions, especially as the RMT were striking over DCO based on the wording of the franchise agreement even before any consultation had started on revised working procedures.
Ex EMT 156401 operating on Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Oxford Road services today. RTT reports that it is paired with 156469 which is a Heaton unit.
