Even in December completely forgot that TPE were bringing back CLC services I wonder if more 185s end up staying with TPE.

I did see elsewhere that the 185s are all staying after all. This is likely to ensure most if not all workings become 6 car rather than 3 car.

Last I heard was the class 185 future was dependant on what happened regarding Liverpool to Nottingham.
It does however appear that there may be some 68s to Cleethorpes from May. The ECS for the 05.56 from MIA is shown off Longsight, although the actual train is missing.

They’re staying permanently to allow for route extensions, capacity requirements and TPRU diversions. All 51 are staying at TPE including the 15 that were originally due to return to the leasing company

Nothing to do with the Nottingham service.

The 05.56 from MIA has now appeared but the ECS off Longsight has disappeared.
802207 was derailed at Newcastle’s Heaton depot yesterday morning causing chaos to some east coast services
In May some Cleethorpes trains are shown ECS Longsight-Cleethorpes, but if you try to follow the diagrams they make no sense with one finishing at Ardwick and another seemingly appearing out of thin air at Sheffield!
