They pledged £10 million pounds when they first took over the company but the first priority has been securing a bigger licence. Don't forget not that long ago MCT had some maintiance issues which saw Stagecoach and Belle vue stepping in to operate some journeys after a visit to the depot from VOSA. So some of the cash has been spent on upgrading maintiance procedures and putting systems in place to allow them the VA increase they really wanted. A new uniform and livery is also in the pipe line.
MCT are taking over route 418 from M Travel on July 22nd.
Optare Solo SR YJ13 HJG has arrived here, in all over white and a regular on service 179 between Withington and Wythenshawe Hospital. It was acquired from Meridian Driver/CSL.
63 services are transferring to First Group on 28th October.
New MCT registrations for 303, 312, 329, 372, 373 and 382. Looks like Stagecoach have lost a few contracts.
