YJ59GGE is now numbered 1023 - was it 23 before?
https://twitter.com/littlegembus/status/...9395631104
Recent coach purchases re-registered are
Neoplan Starliner MF11LUE is now
WEZ 60
Mercedes Benz Tourismo BF61HBZ is now
C11 ECB
Any idea of the fleet numbers of these two?

I knew I had read it somewhere. Be interesting to see what livery these turn up in. I notice on thier twitter account that even some of the yellow school buses have gained little gem fronts so it looks like everything bar the coaches is going into the retro livery.

Perhaps they'll have a special 'Giant Gem' livery

Or to repeat history again, "Super Gem" would be the correct format
This is what was used on the 571/572 in Bolton when the routes were converted back to decker operation after GM Buses realised that minibuses were too small for that particular route (although still on very high frequency).
The Enviro400 MMC's have been delivered in coach spec Blue/Red colours and are registered YX66WLH/WLJ.
Do they have any timetable for changing their operating name? It seems most of their buses are in Little Gem livery (with a few still in Go Goodwins livery) but TfGM still advertise their services as being Go Goodwins so if the idea was to separate the two businesses so that people didn't get put off hiring coaches due to bad experiences with the bus operations I don't see how that's been achieved yet.

All I know is they've said it is becoming the little gem bus company "soon".
First any of us will know is when its posted in the 'notices and proceedings' on the tc's website

However, if I remember rightly, when GM Buses was split (before sale), GMPTE retained the copyright to the "Little Gem" name. Of course, it may well have been sold off since, on the basis that few people would associate with "GM Buses", nowadays.
Are you sure they copywrote any of the brands? Don't forget UK North famously not only used the GM Buses brand and logo but also trademarked it, at around the same time I beeline a certain enthusiast copywrote the GMB North and The big orange.
If GMB had copy written the brand would they not have done the full brand 'I'm a little Gem'?

They have already changed the operating and Fleetnames on the Goodwins Classic licence to 'Little Gem Bus company' but as yet all the services are still run on the other licence.
I also noticed last week when I spotted one of thier Solos that the driver was wearing a GoGoodwins jumper and tie. As brand changes go it's extremely slow and messy and perhaps slightly confusing to passengers.
