The Information given to Diamond drivers a couple of weeks ago was that they had acquired some land from Goodwins ‘adjacent’ to their existing Eccles yard, I’m pretty sure the actual Goodwins depot is opposite the diamond yard.
Although there is many rumours doing the rounds, one being they are moving the coach side to Warrington. Would kind of make sense as if they don’t secure any work under franchising they can always dabble bus wise in Warrington.

It sounds like getting a contract award in Warrington is difficult, unless you're Warrington's Own Buses. The exceptions being if it's a village service, like the 191 or a school or works contract. They'll be a few opportunities in neighbouring Cheshire council areas but maybe not all that many.

Go goodwins no longer use Warrington, so could everything fit at clayton?

No but theres been talk of them moving everything to the Warrington site. Clayton is ok for storage but not maintenance.
Is that everything including Little Gem? Be allot of dead mileage if it does include Little Gem services.

But Warrington was recently removed from the license

There are rumours about the little gem work. Not sure how true it is but suggestions a lot of it will be thrown in or handed back which coincides with the majority of the vehicles returning to standard registration marks etc. the 391/392 being switched to the Goodwins licence also seems strange.

How long are the existing TfGM contracts?

Could it even be TfGM are taking them back if the contract terms have been breached e.g. by using vehicles that don't meet the contract requirements?

I agree. If I was to speculate it's either because they or Cheshire East don't want the £1.50 m-tickets accepted on the 391/392. (In the past Cheshire East withdrew the 10% Travelcard discount for tickets sold on the 88 route.) Alternatively, they're separating the business that they'll keep post-TfGM franchising.

Possibly Little Gem services are about to be sold (with the exception of the 391/392)?
