(13/04/2021 16:49)knutstransport Wrote: [ -> ]Seems a small bus taking over on the 288 late afternoon is going to be a regular thing with CAZ 2625 doing the duties today. I wonder how that's going to work when the airport reopens properly, with quite a few staff using the 16:52 from the airport and 2 or 3 people might turn up with suitcases.

Also noticed it seems to be a thing that a Metrocity does some 391/392 duties (not just this week.) I thought the idea behind the 391/392 contract and the MMCs being acquired was that the contract required vehicles less than 5 years old to be used as the usual vehicles. Have Go Goodwins decided it's too complicated to use the same 3 vehicles and to switch the drivers driving the vehicles?

The driver seems to stick with the bus. I noticed with the 397 they were doing in Ashton until last Sunday. The driver will do Am duty then return to depot on the bus with the PM driver coming out on a second bus and doing the remaining trips on the bus the travelled up on.
As far as I can tell, via the usual process of spot-the-difference on Flickr, the correspondence between old and new identities is:
1965 = GUI 441 = LJ09 KPO
1966 = 772 URB = LJ09 KPE
1967 = GGV 756 = LJ09 KRF
1968 = 330 GGX = LJ09 KPX
1969 = TYA 218 = LJ09 KPA
1970 = T3 WES = LJ09 KPF
1971 = T5 GEF = LJ09 KOX
1973 = BO55 WES = PN06 UYW
And as already mentioned by Ant
1972 = B20 AEG = YJ08 PFV
It seems either WSV 550 was on the 288 first thing or the ticket machine has been borrowed.

It's quite likely. WSV533 has been on the odd turn of 285/6 duties on Sunday and early on Monday.

All correct except for LJ09 KPX & KOX which are transposed Wink

The vehicle currently using 001 is the MAN Enviro200.

WSV533 was tracking as WSV553 on Sunday, which was a nice suprise as I travelled on the 288 towards the airport

Looks like the MAN Enviro200 started tracking as 1955 again from yesterday.

An ex-Arriva London Enviro 200 was on route 151 yesterday
Not mentioned here is the registration change on the MAN Enviro200 from WEZ3705 to WEZ199.
