Looks like the Merc will sell Mr Whippy but the VW proper hard Cornish ice cream...
Reckon they'll be allocated to the 99..........

Are you sure it lacks a display? The top 30% or so of the windscreen is obscured by something that looks more substantial than merely a sun visor.
Comparing with this Mercedes 'van':

Or perhaps intended for Dial a Ride services?

The little gem signs are original. They bought about 10 signs from the museum of transport when the first of their resprays was displayed a few years ago
A more reasonable vehicle out on the 84/84A today is MAN Enviro200 CX60 AAU new to Express Motors.
Just as I suggested on here last week it’s a real hash of things. Little Gem branded bread vans, a plain white Enviro200 and the Go goodwins liveried spryte Dart were used on newly gained services yesterday.
Couldn't see the reg, but a double decker is on the 84A today. A little over the top for a service carrying about half a dozen passengers

Post on twitter shows newly applied retro fleet numbers with a new EC Eccles depot code
On service 84A today is Optare Solo MX07NTO, in all over white.
Just looking from the outside I thought rotala bought Goodwin's did it not happen?
