This is according to Go-Goodwins own Facebook page I assume? I've not seen any press putting them in a negative light recently but I can think of plenty of operators that operate both coaches and buses under the same name it seems odd that Go Goodwins feel the need to go to these lengths to preserve the coach holiday side of the business.

Given that they only operate tenders and schools surly it would make more sense to operate just plain white vehicles with no fleetnames - as long as the service number and destination are displayed it wouldn't make too much difference.
Nothing has been published, I was informed about it and I am certain no article is to be published. Coach holidays are struggling and buses ain't doing the best either so something needs to happen and the bus/coach separation seems the best way forward. It'll mean nobody receives irrelevant feedback from customers referring to the wrong part of the business. Which is the current problem with the coach holidays business, people are seeing the complaints about bus services and being put off booking on the coach holidays which up until a few months ago, were proving to be very popular. A new trading name for the buses should hopefully turn things in a better direction for the company as a whole.

Even someone with zero interest in the transport industry would know that a bad review about a bus being late would have little relevance to booking a coach holiday with same company. How many stagecoach services in Manchester alone are late annually and Megabus is still doing well.
Creating a new name for the bus side of it just complicates things.
Megabus itself is a different name from Stagecoach though so that backs up the plan here.

I was going to look to see if they were multiple limited companies which would allow them to sell off part of the operations or for the directors to go separate ways and one to have the bus operations and another to have the coach operations.

That's exactly what it is. They already have multiple trading companies. Little gem is a renaming of the existing goodwins classic coaches.
FRom what I've heard is the fater runs the coaches and his son runs the bus side of it as not 100% sure but was told the father isnt intrested in the bus side of it and wants to concentrate on his coaches.
