According to posts on a Facebook group they were very unreliable, constant emmision problems etc and the comments on the sprinters weren’t that much better either.

The Enviro200s are only on hire/loan, unsure about the vans.
The Sprinters are also on hire too.
Solo M780 Y1 BUS and BMC Condor S80 BUS have been withdrawn from service.
MAJOR BREAKING NEWS.
15 minutes ago a statement has been issued by Stagecoach detailing their acquisition of Peoplesbus wef 9th July.
All vehicles and staff will be absorbed into Gillmoss depot.
With all vehicles being included could this mean we could see some interesting vehicle allocations from Gillmoss in the future?

It's highly unlikely that any of PeoplesBus vehicles will be seen on Stagecoach services. Currently it has a very tidy fleet with a distinctive livery carrying cherished X** BUS registrations.
Its core business is providing school services and the Everton and Liverpool FC SoccerBus during match days. My guess is that Stagecoach vehicles will very quickly be seen on these services and the current fleet sold on as most of it is non-standard and dual-door.
Peoplesbus' fleet isn't non standard in the slightest. All buses included in the sale are Stagecoach standard types.
Dual door doesn't matter when they'll be used as they are now, but in Stagecoach colours (sadly).

With a few exceptions, the fleet comprises of ten 09-plate ex-London ADL Enviros and five 20+year-old ALX400s. I may be wrong but I very much doubt any of these will warrant a repaint into corporate livery. Time will tell.
Peoplesbus' announcement says the buses being sold will be repainted.
