0702 (BV57 MPU) BMC Condor making a rare appearance on route 52A today.
Odd-looking thing. Looks like its been squashed.
Them condors are a horrid looking bus.
According to the Merseytravel site, Peoplesbus have been awarded the 144/5 that runs between Bootle and Litherland starting the 7th of July. This is quite a departure for Peoplesbus as most of their tendered work is for schools services. I wonder what vehicles they will use? At present Cumfybus use a range of Optare Solos which are generally adequate for loadings. Surely they are not planning on using a couple of their ex-London ALX 400s. Are they?

Yes, but they will need at least two buses for the services and a back-up if one fails.
Have they painted EU06KDJ the Caetano Nimbus yet? Surely that would be ideal on that route.
Looks like Peoplesbus have got themselves another bus, seen them operating the 144 with a cadet. didn't quite catch the whole reg number but started YJ55 ***.
Peoples SPD currently broken down at Bootle Strand Layover.

That's (YJ55 WRC) an SB120/Cadet new to Smith Coaches of Patna, East Ayrshire.
It was recently for sale at Drew Wilson Coach Sales.
Seen here when it was at Irvine's....
