Nice photo Mike!
I notice from the X5 timetable that the route DOESN'T include Queen Square Bus Station nor Liverpool ONE Bus Station!
Could this be because Merseytravel won't allow a 17-year old step-entry bus in their stations?? The X5 seems to go up St Johns Lane instead.
By the way, that WASN'T me on the bus (as I must've got off much earlier).
Anyway, here's a photo of 0712 (from eight years' ago) when Merseytravel were happy to have step buses on their property...

Its a Commercial service , the age rule doesnt apply im led to believe .
The reason probably for not using Merseytravel's bus stations is to save money on Bus Station charges .
Unfortunately at the Trafford Centre for ease of access to the centre they are obliged to use the Trafford Centre Bus Station.
I dont think Arriva have anything age related about bus station usage.
Peoplesbus have the Rail Replaement starting today operating between Moofields and Liverpool Lime Street (St Georges Hall) They're using some of the Abellio Tridents as well as they're own.
