There were about 5 or 6 reported at Heysham at the weekend so must be them.
I think thats how many i saw.

Home now, just had a look to see what they were...LT44/46/60/61/62 were the ones at Heysham. Not many have been reported prior to these, only LT41 which has been doing driver training in London and LT54/56/57 which were delivered about a month ago, maybe they're being kept back at Wright's until just before they're required in London.

LT62 has been involved in a serious accident on it's second day in service, 2 other buses (WHY4 & Abellio 9401) & at least 2 cars involved. Wishing a speedy recovery to all involved. From the couple of pics I have seen, the damage to LT62 & WHY4 is extensive.......cause unknown at present.

The four Metroline LT's which had LK13*** registrations (LT10/1/2/6) all now carry their intended LTZ registrations. Route 11 seems to be half worked by WVL's alongside the new LT batch. Pics to follow later.

LT10 must only have been re-registered this week as last Saturday afternoon it still carried LK13 FJE - the plan with route 11 was to start with around six on the first two days and then introduce two a day until fully converted by 30th September, of course this may have been upset by the accident with LT62. The six I noted on the first day were LT42/43/55/58/59/62

Seemed to be just as many WVL's on the 11 on Thursday, LT's seen by me were LT42/3/4/6/53/9/61/3/6/8. Suspect it will be a long time before LT62 is back, LT35 which hit the bollards at Hampstead Heath terminus (South End Green) only had some damage to the lower drivers side and that's not back in service yet.

There are 21 HVs on order for BN, supposedly for the route 319 retender. In practice it seems they could operate route 59 or 137 instead. Although the most urgent BN route for Hybrid buses is surely route 159, I think this route is on the LT hitlist!

With LV closing and EC about to reopen, routes 192 and 379 are instead moving to E. I think most other routes from LV will move directly to EC, except routes 318/341 to AR and W3 to WN, with EC gaining routes 144 and 149 instead.
Looks like london are starting to have problems with their DUKWs one caught fire near the houses of parliament yesterday forcing its passengers to jump into the river.
