The white on black blinds have also appeared on Alexander Dennis Dart slf's and Enviro200's with London United at Fulwell on routes 33 and 419. Does anyone know the reason for their re-appearence? TBH don't know why TfL can't accept the electronic LED's Lothian are using at the moment?
White on black is now TfL spec for blinds
That's full circle then. If my memory is correct, 30 years ago yellow on black was only used on night buses. Or were they black on yellow?
Blinds had been white on black, then in 1995 changed to yellow on black. They reverted to white on black for the LTs but are now becoming standard again.
Not sure if anyone's seen this.....enter route and it shows all vehicles (& current stop) or reg number and it shows route & next stop......useful if you're looking for a particular vehicle.

I would like to say Thanks for this information about vehicle tracking, so really very useful, last two weeks ago I went down to London to see Borismasters, but I missed to see Fleet No-LT16,22 and23. So next time I hope to catch No16, 22 and 23. Thanks for help. David.

I will in due course update the fleet code section on my site, to give an understanding as to what they mean. Its a tedious task please believe lol.
The DEs from the 245 will allow the 90 and E6 to be part converted to DE operation and some MMs cascaded elsewhere.

Thanks very much for this link. I'm popping down to London in a few weeks time and hope to ride some of the Borismasters on the 38 and possibly track down TA1 amongst other things. This website is incredibly useful for that purpose.

Do you mean Stagecoach London 17001 (TA1) mate? If so I know they've used it on route 55 a few times - I encountered it on Oxford Street by chance once a couple of months back/had a double taken when I saw the old style Stagecoach logos. Hope this helps.

That's a great post! I love reading about the history of vehicles, routes, infrastructure etc. It's posts like this that I enjoy reading the most.

Ah, TA1 (17001), forgot about that, need to track that down myself for a photo.....seems to have regular use on the 55. type in - history S801BWC - and it shows it's use back to 10 June.
