Metroline VWH2059 on delivery parked up in Twelve Quays today.
Next route for conversion to the Borismaster after the 55 which in being converted at the moment, will be the 15 during February, taking the amount of Borismaster's over the 400 mark and halfway to the eventual 800 examples.
On BBC London's website Metroline's TE1745 (formerly First London 33605) has smashed its roof off after colliding with a tree in Holborn whilst in service on the 91.

Looks some pretty nasty damage to that one and hope no one got seriously injured. Considering that and the vehicle being 6 years old I wonder if Metroline will get it re-roofed/rebuilt?

Yes, it got a lot of coverage across the media. Over-hanging branches and leaning trees are a known hazard in London but the authorities refuse to pollard them and expect drivers to drive away from the kerb. On some images you can see road signs advising high-sided vehicles to do this. It will be interesting to see if the second 24-hour strike on Thursday gets as much media attention. Probably not.

Shall make the new Metroline Enviro400 MMC's easier to track down on my visits to London if they're going on the 16's
I been watching Route 29 on the Live London Bus Map as I'm sure your aware it's a volvo hybrid route out of Wood Green Garage, the question is about the very high utilisation rates of the vehicles. For example HV126 (LJ13 FEB) was out late Monday afternoon/evening on the 29 then ended up on the N29, it was out in yesterday's evening rush hour & through the evening & once again was on the N29 last night. And it is out on the 29 a few moments ago.
Now not saying it's had no depot time in that time but it's certainly an hard working bus. How long can a B5LH go without fueling?

Route 29 terminates at Wood Green depot so that is probably your answer.

All of them have gone off lease and are now sitting in a yard in Purfleet. 4 have gone to Dean Sullivan's, Sullivan Buses.
