For those who want to keep up with the London Scene, we're doing a news special every month, complete with pictures and text which will entail all the goings on from the previous month.

Here's March: http://circleoflondon.blogspot.co.uk/201...-2015.html
http://circleoflondon.blogspot.co.uk/201...015_8.html - The latest going ons in London for April 2015.
The 73 commenced operation with LT's on 14 May with LT464-9/88-90/2 all in service, along with LT352/3/5 transferred from the 137 allocation, the batch will be 53 new LT's from LT464 plus 6 from the 137 batch (LT352-6 plus one other). Other recent conversions were LT312-6/57-90 (Stagecoach) for the 55, LT317-356 (Arriva) for the 137 (as mentioned above, 6 transferred to the 73), LT391-416 (Stagecoach) for the 15 (also used on the 8) and LT417-456 (Go Ahead) on the 12. LT457-63 are extra LT's for various operators, LT462/3 to Stagecoach for the 8/15, LT457/8 should be for Metroline and LT459-61 are unallocated to my knowledge.

HTH
Just out of interest, what route/routes have the Hybrids which were on the 73 gone onto?

Many will go on to the 253, displacing VLW's

Many thanks.
Although not in normal service, this photo gives you an idea of how an LT will look on London route 73

By the way, I reckon earlier HVs off route 73 will convert route 253, and later ones route 78.

253 with the rest on the 141, from the LOTS website, updated today
LT472 has had a bit of a bump on it's first day out, went into the back of LT25 https://www.flickr.com/photos/124193440@N06/17999744442

LT472 re-entered service on 26 August, I was fortunate enough to catch a shot at the Angel on the same day.

Also from the day's trip to London, 8 E200MMC's & 7 E400MMC's have entered service with Stagecoach London at Romford garage, route 498 for the 400's and 499 for the 200's

and lastly (but first shots from the day), the Victoria line was closed north of Seven Sisters and some rail replacement services are operating, Metroline running a 558 between Seven Sisters and Chingford Mount and routes A & B between Walthamstow Central & Straford/Seven Sisters respectively, run by Sullivan Buses, Redbridge Transport and a few other operators

Plus Arriva London trainer DLA1 was also seen at Seven Sisters https://www.flickr.com/photos/dmc1947/20...otostream/

Overall a very enjoyable & interesting day!
