No it wasn’t. The line/track was washed away again in at least two places by January’s storm and there’s been a replacement bus service since then. Fortunately, after a NR test train from Crewe went to Blaenau early last week, it was able to open in time for Easter

ukmodernemu group has diagrams, from an FOI request, and as stated there are three mk.4 sets, two covering three single trips each way from 13th September and the third spare at Canton.

The odd thing is there is also a CF900 shown spare at Crewe formed DVT, 3TSO, 67.
67014 is the latest to receive the TfW Livery at Toton.
Reported that TfW have purchased the vehicles intended for the GC Blackpool service - they've gone off the Eversholt list of vehicles available for lease or sale.
Can I ask please, will that move see those vehicles undergoing another repaint into TFW livery
I believe tomorrow is the last day for the TFW Class 143s with 143601 out in use.
Unusually, a 153 was coupled to a 158 on a Holyhead bound train yesterday

These might be the ones that had been refurbished for the aborted Grand Central London - Blackpool service.
