I saw a 197 at Manchester Piccadilly platform 13 or 14 (the southbound one) last Monday around 18.45.
A 175 set on fire at Wilmslow station last night.

Yet another one even though the reliability of these units is good now its still a serious problem I love the 175s but I think they need some serious TLC once they return to Alstom.

Its been obvious since the 197's came on the scene that they dont really want to look after the 175's , they are just about doing enough to keep them going .

Be surprised if any are left in service after December shows how hard Alstom staff at Chester worked to keep them reliable.
