Rumoured Network Rail won't be giving clearance for D-Trains to run between Chester and Crewe or allow them to run on the North Wales coast (for the purpose of switching Conwy Valley units over.)

If this is the case then the franchise could be in turmoil before it even starts , where was the units running those lines supposed to be going in the franchise merry go round .
Sounds like platform end wibble to me, given that
230003 ran under its own power from Long Marston to Bletchley via Oxford and Coventry.
Steam trains operate on mainlines occasionally but the chance of one being cleared for regular passenger services would be very slim.

They should still be ok for Bidston - Wrexham services. Maybe also some Cardiff Valleys routes or Shrewsbury - Swansea via Knighton?
175107 is out today in new TfW Red/White livery. Similar to Anglia.

No timetables on new website as far as I can see.
