Thanks SF07. In time for some Christmas shopping indeed! I have read that the Droylsden section is due to open on 11 February 2013. So hopefully Rochdale can't be long now. I plan to ride the full Droylsden and Oldham/ Rochdale sections on the same day. You might be surprised that when I went to Oldham 4 weeks ago I looked at Oldham Mumps station but did not actually ride Metrolink at that stage.
Trams to Shaw show "Shaw via Oldham".
T68 trams in service on Tuesday on Bury-Altrincham workings were 1017+1026 1021+1023 1012+1022 1024+1003 1014+1016 1013+1007 and 1025 which was operating on its own.
2001 and 2003 were working Media City UK services with 3020 whilst 2004 and 2005 were on Eccles services.
Probably with the opening to Shaw 3041 is now in services. This was in service from Piccadilly to Altrincham.
3012 was just on young apprentice
3033 just been spotted as well
I have noticed how a majority of trams at least off-peak seem to be the M5000s rather than T68s.

I had earlier in the year pencilled in today to ride Metrolink through to Rochdale Station. Of course this proved impossible, but ironically I still travelled through Rochdale Station, but en route to Bradford instead!
Metrolink to open to Rochdale railway station from next Thursday (28 February):

1003 with 1023 on Alty runs today 1003 looks hideous in that odd livery.

also noted 3020 in its Fusiliers livery looked great but not as good as the old Fusiliers tram did.
I've noticed 305# trams have started to enter service and also, the city centre displays are now running, at least at Shudehill and Victoria. Mosley Street is due for closure on the 18th of this month which has proven to be a bit of a ball ache for me... Ah well! Smile
Isnt Moseley Street stop , the non standard stop that only first generation metrolink trams could stop at.

Spot on, only first and second generation 4 cars can stop there, however now that it's closing, we will be seeing more double third gens!
