I made sure I booked my ticket as soon as I heard they were on sale this morning.
There are now just 6 tickets left - probably will be sold out tonight.
Is this going to be a T68 or a T68A tram .

If memory serves me right aren't T68 trams banned from the Eccles line ?

Glad to see that 1007 has been saved - from a passengers point of view, certainly the most comfortable of the T67/T68A's.

Good to see MTMS have acquired it - will be interesting to see how it could operate in Heaton Park though.

Here's mine and forum member 2829's video from the farewell tour, it certainly was an enjoyable day. I also made sure I covered the entire network with the special commemorative ticket after the event.

Today and tomorrow , 07th and 08th June .

The Metrolink have some altered services due to the Parklife Event in Heaton Park.

Services due to operate until 7pm on both days :
Altrincham - Piccadilly
Bury - Abraham Moss (upto 6pm)
Bury - Piccadilly
East Didsbury - Rochdale Town Centre
Eccles - Ashton

Services after 7pm

Altrincham - Piccadilly
Bury - Piccadilly
Bury - Deansgate-Castlefield
East Didsbury - Piccadilly
Eccles - Ashton
Rochdale Town Centre - Central Park (Replacement bus service will operate Between Central Park and Piccadilly).

Heaton Park Metrolink tram stop will be CLOSED from 1830hrs on both days as Metrolink advises that the stop is not suited to the management of large crowds , Bowker Vale stop has better facilities for the management of crowds. To accommodate the amount of passengers you will have noticed that there is a revised service on the Rochdale line and a six minute service operating on the Bury - Market Street common section .
