Making New appearances on the GM Waste Traffic this week are 70003 and 70011.

59004 has made its way to Leeds Midland Road for maintenance, the first of the class to do so since FL began mendip operations.

Was the missing one 70012 the one that wanted to stay onboard the ship that brought them from abroad when the harness snapped.

You are correct. 70012 was dropped as it was being unloaded from the ship.

It was returned to the GM factory where it was built for parts recovery to allow those parts to be used on another loco.
