the Ashton in Makerfield Line is getting Repaired ready for a Freightliner Contract starting next month, I think the Cargo is Ballast, Paths are on RTT

With the deliveries spread over seven months it must be a pretty big contract.

Will be GBRf operated when finally gets going!
It does say above that it is a Freightliner contract.

It's GBRf, start and finish points registered in their name and headcode for workings comes under GBRF's train operating sector.
It has been showing as GBRf since June at least.
It was always going to be a GBRf contract.
66418 is now named "Patriot" in memory of former railway employees.
A new 5 road inspection facility has been opened at Crewe Basford Hall on the site of the old fuel point.
