66614 has been named POPPY 1916-2016 in memory of 15 workers from Buxton Lime Firms (now Tarmac) who died at the Battle of the Somme.
70013 and 70017 have returned to action following store since December and August 2016 respectively.
70001, 70002, 70003, 70009 and 70014 have disappeared off TOPS, rumour has it they could be off to Poland!
I had heard over the weekend that a number of 70s were indeed going to Poland although my informant was unsure of the accuracy of the information.
Long term ghost 47771 has been reinstated into Freightliner storage pool DHLT having been transport by road from the Colne Valley Railway to Southampton Maritime. From there it'll go via rail to Eastleigh Works for overhaul and a new lease of life.
47771 is expected to revert to its original number of 47503.
66595, 66596, 66597 and 66956 have been stored and look to be being handed back to the leasing company.
66595 and 66597 are in store at Wentloog CT
66957 is a 5th placed into store but for now is yet to transfer to the DHLT storage pool.
