3833 has been on the 'Tyne Tees Express'.
8243 has been on the S1, with a new 'Super-X' display layout.

Indeed 3833 was on the X9 out of Middlesbrough at 1600... I followed it upto Billingham Stores from the A19

I think 3833 was covering for 6044 which was on the 'Loop'.

I'm guessing it had been fixed and used back in service cos 3833 was covering for 6044 as it broke down in Newcastle

Lambton Worm brand was removed when branded SPD's 8163/4/5/6 were withdrawn approx 18 months ago. It has not been reinstated since the 34/34A gained branded dafs, except on the timetable/route maps.

Ex-London Volvo Olympians 3904, 3916, 3917, 3918, 3936, 3937, 3938 and 3939 and Dennis SPD 8210 have been sold to Tees Valley Stage Carriage, Marske. (GNE Website).

A 54 reg citylink merc broke down on the tyne bridge / swan house roundabout slip road this evening at around 5pm. It was about to be towed when I went passed and by the looks of things it must have had some sort of oil/coolant leek from the engine area as a large amount of sand had been placed on the road around it.

Nasty photos, but worth it.
