On the GNE website, the results of the Pulse/Fab57 and Highwayman consultations have been published. Interestingly, It says that the Highwayman will be getting newer buses later on this year.

What's happening with Red Kite(RK) and West Durham Swift (WDS) Omnicities which have had branding removed. There was talk on previous forum some would be going onto Lime (8/78) Services. What are the replacements for the Omnicities for 43/44/45/46 (RKs&WDSs) Stanley have a lot of Yellow Bus R Reg Palatine 1 D. Deckers (13) Are these on their way out shortly?

I'm not entirely sure where the OmniCities are going. Like you say, there was talk at one point of the OmniCities replacing the Renowns on the Lime services.

The Red Kite is due to get a refreshed branding but I'm not sure whether it will use the OmniCities or another single-decker type.

The 43 and 44 are named the Diamond and are operated by Mercedes Citaros, not Scania OmniCities. The West Durham Swift services are the X30, X31, X70 and X71.

GNE are due to get brand new double-deckers for the Tyne Tees Express this month. So, this displaces seven Wright Eclipse Geminis which will be refurbished and are planned to be put onto the West Durham Swift services.

There are plans to withdraw the remaining NC Palatine 1's, with some already been sold.
