I though there was a law that there must be a connection between Liverpool and the Wirral 24 Hours. Something to do with the Mersy Ferries. If the 500/501 is withdrawn this will completely break the connection

So did i, Its mentioned on the Merseytravel Website their getting cut, Might ring Merseytravel up in Morning and see what they say

I was under the impression that there was a law too, but after searching the Transport Act 1968, The County of Merseyside Act 1980 and Mersey Tunnels Act 2004 there is no mention of the need for a 24 hour cross river service. Any idea where else may be a good place to search?

I thought the night buses through the tunnel was only put on to stop people walking through the tunnel after a night out in liverpool
