I got that 831 a few weeks ago into Liverpool from Netherton and it picked-up very well! I just hope, for their own sake, that they don't take-over it Avon-style by increasing the fares dramatically and scaring the passengers away.

More half-hearted attempts at services here, there and everywhere... Hope the drivers can rely on their managers and their bright ideas for a secure job. I'd credit them for their effort but they've lacked it lately, despite some successful ventures (81 and the 500/501).

What they did to the 38 after building it up was poor. Whether it was working or not, it doesn't take a genius to work-out that moving it away from pretty-much town itself isn't going to improve it. Then there's the 50... The first journey from Crosby seems to be busy, so it appears that they decided to increase the service from Bootle (a place with a bus to town every other minute) via a route with very little on it and not even stopping anywhere in town bar Mann Island/Canada Boulevard... They obviously believed in that as they put in to change it on its first week, improving it slightly by serving a bit more of Bootle and Liverpool (but then went and did the opposite to the 38). Shame as there's potential in the Crosby area at the moment with some areas without a link to where the 53A did take them to. As for the 36, looks like a good idea but they aren't running it properly so how can it possibly work?! Went for it a few times now and it hasn't showed-up and I've only heard bad things about it from other people so far.
There's no way that they're building-up a loyal customer base with their current ideas. Don't know if I'm the only one to think this but I'm getting sick of companies wasting potential in this struggling industry.
