I got shown a picture of a £5 day ticket off the 34E , no mention on the ticket anywhere saying its a solo ticket and he stated he was told by the driver it was £2.80 single untill arriva come off strike then the fares will come down.[

That is a solo ticket. I fully agree though it should be made clearer.
For the single tickets, not sure what the driver found but tickets on the 34E are £2.30. Anything above that, contact Link Network via email.

Where does it say Solo on it?
Late change on Merseytravel's website. Link Network are to take over the 99 Prescot - Whiston Circular from Monday with additional peak hour journeys introduced.

May have a been an experiment the 34E not surprised it’s going no one seems to be using it now Arriva aren’t striking anymore
Link have 2 identical Versas YK08 EPC & EPD, I also noticed that the Tempo is now in the same colour as one of the Centros can’t remember which one though.
Link also now have a brand new 72 plate E200MMC seen by myself on the 99 yesterday most likely on lease.
