I asked about it on the Link Network Facebook Page and was told the Timetable will be online this week so we shall soon know what the change is

I wonder if it will be to go direct into Widnes, omitting Halton View, so that they can they have the selling point of faster journeys between the two.
Nothing seems to be available on the Link Network website, Halton council website or Traveline.

I highly doubt Halton view would be omitted as it is really the quickest route out of the town centre towards Warrington, any other route would almost certainly be longer. Besides Halton view has reasonable patronage.

Personally in Link Networks shoes if I was going to omit any of the route it would probably be old Liverpool road, again this is somewhere that provides reasonable patronage but is really the only section of the route where a couple of minutes could be shaved off, even then this would be dependent on traffic and hardly a selling point.
Actually, rather than chopping something, I hope the change is to extend the route to The Hive or even Vicarage Road via Asda.
In my opinion, either of those would be a good move and should be manageable for a 1-hour round trip.

I hope that the company ends their 'experiment' with the different number of minutes headway compared with the Arriva 110 though and have an 'every 20 minutes' timetable when the changes come into effect.
Its only a SN change so will only be something small as it starts next week, probably just something to the avoid the queues around the bridge and road closures on going.

Ah okay. Out of interest, what does SN mean?
I'm guessing here but maybe short notice?

Correct, which can only be used for small changes such as 1 journey changing, replacing another service or loss/gain of subsidised route or some small route changes normally in aid of roadworks or local roads schemes.
New Timetable for the 110 is online

Oh dear, it's a step in the opposite direction to what I'd hoped, with there now being gaps from Warrington of 24 minutes, then 11 minutes, then 25 minutes, then repeat and repeat ...
It's a bit more even from Widnes with the gaps being 17 minutes, then 22 minutes, then 21 minutes and repeat.

But why can't they just make it every 20?! Hammer
I wonder, what with different stands being used throughout the day, if they have had difficulty getting stands at Warrington -- this is of course unconfirmed.
One thing i do like is the way the Timetable is set up, All as one instead of Bus 1, Bus 2 and Bus 3
