Maybe ive missed something about the cuts you've mentioned. Id be interested to find out more about this. One concern in my mind is that is an operator is proposing cuts to some services does that mean they are not profitable? I do have plans to link Warrington and St Helens in the near future, currently working on a route & time table.

If you can point me in the direction on information on the Cuts I would be grateful
Thanks

Good luck in St. Helens (my home town) - but you'll probably need it. There are no "goldmine" routes not already covered by Arriva, etc. Others have tried, but only one (Hatton's) has lasted for more than a few years. What happens with Cumfy & HTL remains to be seen with the general trend to reduce Merseytravel tendered services.
One problem is that between St. Helens & neighbouring towns there are often several miles of lightly populated (i.e. unproductive) routes.
I do think there is room for Link Network to expand around St Helens, Theres also the option of direct competition against Arriva
With the recent demise of Warrington's 33(A), I wonder if any funding could be got for a service from Warrington to St Helens linking Westbrook/Gemini with Burtonwood/Collins Green, similar to the old Fairways 339.
No council has any more to fund anything, the 339 was almost fully pass users anyway
I was quite impressed with the 110 when I tried it the other day.
They're doing better than I thought. Don't get me wrong, vehicles aren't packed, but it seems to be steady.

It might just be me being dim, but the way the timetable is done, I thought they were only running hourly in the school holidays, but it turns out that they're still 3 per hour (bus 1 on the school holiday timetable, with buses 2 and 3 operating as normal).

PS I propose that this thread be renamed 'Link Network (MD Bus & Coach)'.
W108EWU is now at Bullocks
I'll be interested to see what the route change is on the 24th October.
I wonder if it will be to go direct into Widnes, omitting Halton View, so that they can they have the selling point of faster journeys between the two.
Nothing seems to be available on the Link Network website, Halton council website or Traveline.
