Now confirmed the 42 and 55 Services in Lancaster (Kirkby Lonsdale trips) are getting chopped so i have updated the list of Services in Post 1

Is it me or is it not clear what is happening with the 78? Have Coastal registered the 78 commercially and extended it to Poulton as well as the new 77.

Preston Bus and Longton Parish Council are working together to provide a service on the 12 between Preston and Longton.

The 78 is currently commercial during the daytime, tendered from 1830 onwards and all day Sundays.

Stagecoach have posted changes in Lancashire for April. Some details on services currently funded by LCC:
  • 2A/12A (Preston-Ormskirk): Service 2A to continue without funding but service 12A will be withdrawn.
  • 4/4A (Preston-Longridge) and 4c (Preston-Preston College): Services withdrawn and replaced by new service 4C.
  • 4C (Preston-Longridge): New service replacing existing services 4, 4A and 4C with service running to/from Longridge, Berry Lane. Some journeys will run to/from Chipping. Some journeys will run via Preston College and buses towards Preston will run via Hospital. Late evening journeys withdrawn.
  • 5A (Clitheroe-Longridge): Service withdrawn.
  • 6 (Chorley-Coppull): Service withdrawn. Most of route covered by revised service 7 and Arriva service 362.
  • 7 (Chorley-Croston): Service re-routed via Eaves Green Road, partly replacing service 6. Service extended from Chorley to Lower Adlington, replacing service 8.
  • 7B (Clitheroe-Nelson): Service withdrawn.
  • 8/8A (Chorley-Lower Adlington/Blackrod): Service 8 withdrawn and replaced by service 7. Service 8A remains unchanged.
  • 14 (Preston-Fairfax Road): Service withdrawn. No change to Preston Bus journeys.
  • 24A (Chorley-Blackburn): Service withdrawn. No changes to Monday-Saturday daytime service 24, operated by Transdev.
  • 68 (Blackpool-Preston): Times changed with additional Monday-Saturday evening introduced, partly replacing Preston Bus journeys. No Sunday evening service. Service re-routed to leave Blackpool via Promenade instead of Adelaide Street West and Central Drive.
  • 74 (Blackpool-Larkholme): Service withdrawn. Partly replaced by Catch 22 Bus.
  • 84 (Poulton-Fleetwood): Service withdrawn. Partly replaced by Blackpool Transport services and by Catch 22 Bus.
  • 86/89/89H (Fleetwood-Lancaster): Service withdrawn
  • 109/109A (Chorley-Preston): Route and times changed. Most 109 journeys will not serve Tesco. Service 109A re-routed via between Euxton Lane and Chorley via Chorley Hospital, Astley Village, Tesco and Southport Road. Evening and Sunday journeys on service 109A withdrawn and replaced by commercial service 109 except for Sunday evenings.
  • 113 (Wigan-Preston): Route and times changed with service re-routed via Wymott to partly replace Preston Bus service 112. The Monday-Saturday evening service by Preston Bus is withdrawn.
  • 114 (Bamber Bridge-Preston): Monday-Saturday evening journeys withdrawn.
  • 115 (Chorley-Preston): Service withdrawn. Route partly covered by services 3, 109/109A and 111.
  • 150/151 (Bamber Bridge-Preston): Evening and Sunday service withdrawn. No changes to Monday-Saturday daytime service

Rosso's 465 service between Rawtenstall and Todmorden will be merged with the 482 service from 4 April.
