2 stagecoach buses on route 1 have been involved in an accident near Cheshire oaks on sunday evening, a motorbike has overtaken a bus clipped the bus when overtaking & hit bus travelling in opposite direction, police closed a5117 from strawberry roundabout to stanney oaks for a few hours, there is a lot more to this accident you can read it in chester chronicle online

X22 branded 34742 was back out on the road today but on Chesters Park and Ride. Should be back on X22 tomorrow.

17494 is off the road awaiting a part for the throttle system, so there will be a usual trident out in peak hours until it is fixed. 18148 has also made an appearance.

Keep an eye out for 18151 on the X8 from this Saturday and every Saturday on the run up to Christmas. It will be used as a shunt vehicle to Chester Bus Exchange for drivers on the X8. If the X8 is late coming in then the driver will leave Chester on time on 18151 and so on.

Might be the start of a carefully planned fightback by Avon, which I hope they are successful, as its good to have a locally based independent as well as the national money grabbing machines...
