I saw 2549 parked up at Runcorn about 2 weeks ago, dont ask me why it was there. I then spotted it near the Hive in Widnes the day after displaying "sorry not in service", not seen it since. I didnt spot it on one service at Runcorn.

To be politically correct "Paradise Street Bus Station" was the site that lasted till 2005 and is now where the Superdry and JD store is in the Liverpool One Complex, stretching back to HMV.

"Paradise Street Interchange" is the current "Liverpool ONE Bus Station" named as an interchange due to Merseytram supposed to be stopping at the back of stands 6-10. Renamed due to it not being an Interchange after the "Merseytram" idea became mothballed and probably due to the fact it's not on Paradise Street (It's on Canning Place), and was refereed locally as "L1".

There was nothing wrong with the old Paradise Street bus station it was a lot better and easier for people it should never have gone, they could have put the shops where the current bus station is

i honestly think it well better now than it was, let be honest Pardise Street as it stood was just outdated not fit for purpose built in 1970s and liverpool as a city was on decline something had to give , now it hive of activity L1, Echo Arena, Bt Covention Centre liverpool is in a better postion now than it was when paradise street was there i love going into to Liverpool one Now great place to shop bit of everything in there

The last paradise bus station wasnt built in the 70's, the last one was more 90's built and wasn't bad, probably better for cover whilst waiting for your bus than this one. However, I do think that it is better postioned now.
