If that's true then any LED fitting would most likely be done by the receiving depot.
It really would make sense to move them to a depot which has other Volvo B7TLs as Stagecoach have very few with them (hence why it'd be better to have them all under few roofs - and the same goes for the Volvo and Scania single-deckers) - however, there should be sufficient double-deckers for the 471/472 before such a move happens because Arriva are already having trouble with deckering those services as it is!

I understand the arriva situation on Heswalls is deliberate and will be reversed the week after next week with the hybrids. In any case I'm sure Stagecoach won't make decisions based on what arriva allocates to QBPs.

You have to ask the question why are they painting the royales if they are going to put up for sale, have they decided to keep hold of them or move them to another company within stagecoach

Ex-Gillmoss Renowns now based at Rock Ferry are:
W466 CRN (21117) - http://www.flickr.com/photos/28011506@N0...otostream/
W468 CRN (21119) - http://www.flickr.com/photos/28011506@N0...hotostream
X113 JFV (21120) - http://www.flickr.com/photos/28011506@N0...otostream/

These will most-certainly replace some awful Flolines from public service to death row in Gillmoss depot!

These renowns are decent buses and are quite rightly put back in service, one thing one or two of them needed internally were their grab poles repainted as they had peeled away to there being no paint at all on them in places and also the handles on the tops of the seats. Other than that these are good replacements.

Ouch, an expensive error! Any ideas whether they'll be used in service again having received a repaint mbonwick?
