Another interesting point about the 192 hybrids, what will happen with Hyde Road's share of the route? Will they use hybrids as well, or will they continue to use the 08/58/09 reg Enviro400's?

Well, I hope Stockport get all of the 192 share and all of the hybrids, otherwise it would be logical that Hyde Road Depot get a few hybrids if they keep their share of the route.

If 40 Hybrids are due to arrive are they all for the 192 and how would 40 be like spread out?

They would presumably be the same as the existing buses, spread out, i.e. the 20 59 reg's, around 10 58/09 reg's and 10 or more 08 reg's.
The fact there's more than 40 buses to replace in Stockport probably indicates that some Enviro400's will continue on the route, even from Stockport. Depending on how 'green' the route has to go in order to meet QBP rules, that's where Hyde Road's share gets interesting. It could be that some of the hybrids move there, but then there'll be gaps in Stockport's route. 'Hole in my bucket' comes to mind, lol LOL

All 192s revert to Stockport depot from end of Jan.

There's also been a lot of speculation about where the MAN engined Enviro400's will end up, with Wigan hot favourite but apparently they are all staying put at ST.

Yes the final verdict is all the 59 reg's are staying at Stockport, presumably meaning Ashton's 06/56 East Midlands bound deckers will now be replaced by the 08 reg's.

Unless they're getting rid of the tridents from London?
Although it would make sense, as there are quite a few tridents slipping onto routes other than schoolbuses.

The deckers at Wigan are only for schools AFAIK and are due to be replaced by London Tridents in summer.

Wait what about those DD's on the 32?

The London tridents are going to Wigan in the summer apparently, presumably to replace the Arrows which currently run the school services.
So that's about 10 of 40 accounted for. Now that we know Stockport are doing ALL of the 192 from the end of Jan, that's another 8 boards, meaning only 32 can leave anyway. I dare say a few more developments will occur in due course as there wouldn't be 22 buses going to Ashton surely.

That right, they wont come service until like mbonwick say 6th jan for ticket machine. So it will be all full stagecoach alx300/Man 22400 to 7, 22301-8 and 22351,2,3,4,5,6, 7,8 and 22361,2 enter service on 6th january. I'm excited.

Not 22306/7 as I believe these are working for East Midlands at one of the Lincolnshire area depots.

HTH

They are based at Gainsborough depot and 22306 is proving rather mischievousness Smile

RE: Stagecoach Manchester
There will need to be some additional Tridents into Wigan - it requires more than the current London batch. Could we perhaps see some 51 plate examples heading north for conversion soon?

Don't forget that if HE are losing the 192 entirely to ST then they will lose 8 boards worth of work.

The reality of the situation is that things will shuffle around so the 06/56/07 plate examples leave - it won't be a case of whole batches of vehicles moving.

Or some Enviro400s from Stockport, possibly ?

None of the Enviro400s are going to Wigan from anywhere in Manchester.
There has been talk for a while of more Tridents coming North from London. Originally it was thought they may be for Magic, but now they look set for Wigan.

Well for the time being two unknown Enviro400's 08/58 reg I think are at Wigan to cover the B9TL's as they're getting a repaint! I believe that it's for the X34/600.
