TfGM ordered these buses a year ago, which is when the process of installing the charging equipment should have begun. Instead, TfGM decided to leave it until June of this year, three months before franchising starts, to submit the planning application for those works. That is woeful planning which Rotala cannot be blamed for whatsoever. |

It was the subsequent melee that caused the works to be aborted that has set the timetable back. |

It obviously wasn't planned very well then, was it? Mind you, it's LCR who take the biscuit here. They had nearly two years to ensure the infrastructure was in place ahead of the hydrogen buses being delivered, and it still isn't now. I suppose that's the private sector's fault as well? |

Bee Network will take over the 184 service between Oldham and Huddersfield when tranche 2 of the network starts on 24 March 2024. The service will transfer back to Oldham depot, having switched from First Manchester to First West Yorkshire's Huddersfield depot in April 2023 and has been funded by TfGM/WYCA since 10 December 2023, when First WY had planned to withdraw the service. Regarding 184 it will be interesting to see what route this will take as I'm led to believe its going back to the old route of operating direct via A62 from Marsden to Huddersfield, if not some route learning will have to be done to route learn all the Oldham Drivers the route via Mount Road and Causeway Side & Linthwaite. |

So, Stagecoach will be back in Huddersfield after owning the Waterloo depot in 2005-08, but this time as part of the Bee Network. |

It seems as part of the Trafford franchises Altrincham to Manchester Airport will again become a standalone service. In the (unlikely) event Warrington's Own Buses decided to continue running the X5 to Manchester Airport on a commercial basis, would that affect the proposed Bee Network 288? |
