More delays today to all buses down to the A41 thanks to yet more roadworks and the closure of the New Ferry bypass.
I actually feel sorry for Stagecoach attempting to run a service down there.

On twitter , it stated that the X1 was operating via the 38 route to keep the service running , it only misses two stops on New Chester Road by avoiding New Chester Road and New Ferry .

I wonder whether something similar may happen tomorrow as the bypass will remain closed till 6am on Monday.

Anyone got an idea when the A41 bypass works will finish , because when that finishes there is still work to be completed in New Ferry after the recent resurfacing there.

Oh and both Chester services going around Cheshire Oaks will not help the service reliability one bit , seriously think Stagecoach management are just handing passengers straight into the hands of Merseyrail .
