I checked after I saw it yesterday and it wasn’t on there but I’m sure it was 15741 that I saw.

Maybe Preston need a couple more Gold spec for the 125? In Bamber Bridge recently I saw a couple of standard liveried vehicles in use.

I saw 15583 roughly 2 days ago on the 38s and then tonight I think it was 15584 on the pits at rock ferry depot, no idea why.

After having a few trips today , i have to seriously say that Stagecoach bus timings for the 22 and 38 are a bit over optimistic to say the least , the 1545 Chester - West Kirby arrived in West kirby at 1725 booked arrival time of 1714 , and left on its departure to Chester at 1728 when it should have left at 1720 at one point in Neston the service was 20 minutes behind schedule. This service went all the way from Chester to Willaston before picking up its first passenger after Chester and then that was a concessionary pass.

With the 38 , the 1805 From West Kirby to Bromborough its something different i dont know where the timing was lost as the bus just seemed to make progress through out the route and met no delays but , still the service arrived In Bromborough 8 minutes late , this is the first bus when the timings are reduced , maybe the timings shouldnt be reduced as the bus would have been on time with the previous hours running time .

The 22 needs a slight tweak. It gives us far too much time between heswall and west kirby, and coming through neston you'll lose it. I had one the other day, 20 minutes late into heswall but i was early by the time i got to thorns drive. It's nice to have that time to gain back but obviously not so nice for people waiting at heswall for a bus running 20 minutes late. Some drivers purposely leave west kirby 10 minutes late because they know that by the time they get to irby village, it's time to stop because they're running early. Also its a good one for enthusiasts at the moment because anything apart from deckers are going on it. Yesterday i had 21257 and i know in the past week 26058 park and ride bus has been on it for one trip due to being the only spare bus available at the time.

For the 22 what is booked to operate the route , it does need to be something that is spritely on the section from Willaston to Chester as its mostly i would say main road running at road speed , i couldn't imagine much local traffic in between them locations.

Also 20 minutes could get Stagecoach foul of the traffic commissioners , its like the timetable was set up too quickly after the Arrowe Park Hospital deviation was dispensed with.

Main annoyance of the 22 for me is the run between Neston & Willaston. feels like the magical mystery tour of Neston, way back when the old 22/23 going to C22/C23, 23/C23 was via Willaston, were as 22/C22 was Little Neston, Ness & Burton
