RE: High Peak
The latest bus for transpeak is Scania/ Wrightbus Solar YN08 OAJ. It is in transpeak livery.

Double decker 907 has moved on, 906 is expected to replace it, this is apparently due to its seats being more suitable for the long journeys.

i think it looks very smart

As For 906,This has leather seats like the rest of them in huddersfield, think 907 Is the only one without them,so will 907 Be moving to huddersfield to replace 906?

RE: High Peak
The 60 might actually be two co-ordinated overlapping services with the same number, as Derbyshire CC's timetable site says "additional Hayfield - Whaley Bridge journeys introduced"

High Peak website only has the Hayfield-Whaley Bridge timetable but the website does say 'certain journeys will run through from Macclesfield', so may be possible that will be the case.

RE: High Peak
I took advantage of 'The Boss' wanting to visit a shop 'over the hill' in Buxton at today to check-out the High Peak operations.

The former Bowers yard off Hadfield Road East is very much still in use; Photo Here

The nearby 'shed' and yard off Sheffield Road also appears to still be in use for major repairs with the cannibalised remains of two withdrawn buses on site;

370 - X942 NUB

436 - R154 RAL

Did either of these see service with the High Peak operation or were they withdrawn prior to its commencement?

By contract the former Trent depot at Dove Holes on the A6 only had a couple of Scania/Wright Solar's present along with the recently transferred Scania/East Lancs double decker 904 - YN07 LHT

Finally, High Peak were also using the coach park at Spring Gardens in Buxton for buses on lay-over between turns.

HTIOI

RE: High Peak
High Peak/Bowers have been using the coach park at Spring Gardens (if its the one I think you mean) for a while now and its normally buses of the 42/442 Ashbournes that can be found parked up there in between journeys

I know we can only dream but I'd love to see one of those Olympus's out on a 199 sometime

I suspect it will only be a matter of time - but I'm bound to be at the other end of the country that day! Undecided
