This is an absolute scandal. The roadworks started in December and should have been completed in a few weeks. Here we are 7 months later and they still aren't finished causing quite a lot of operational difficulties for the Blackpool Transport's Heritage Fleet. It's just very fortunate that Starr Gate can accommodate the fleet or the general public would be robbed of the chance to ride and view these fantastic vehicles this year.

Only to add to the article - I was there myself and really enjoyed the day. Spent a bit of time down at Starr Gate getting photos of the Heritage Trams doing moves down there in service (definitely a rare opportunity). Thoroughly enjoyable and many thanks to all involved.

My understanding is that 732's move back to Rigby Road should be tomorrow, so the near future was a very well educated guess.
