From Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours Facebook Page:

BIGGER AND BETTER IN 2016!

Although we still have our fabulous Santa Special Saturdays during December before the curtain falls on what has been an absolutely amazing season for the heritage tram operation in Blackpool, it’s time to preview what we have in store for the 2016 season and the title says it all!

Gone is the ‘GREEN’ four tram timetable. Staying is the established and well patronised ‘BLUE’ core two tram service. Increasing is the number of ‘GOLD’ six or more tram service days! Extended midweek operation to reflect differing county and UK school holidays. Say hello to ‘WINTER GOLD’ weekends in January, February and November to plug the gap in the traditionally quiet time for transport events. Back by popular demand is the TRAMWAY ANNIVERSARY SPECTACULAR event in September. There will also be one or two of our now-famous launches as the season progresses seeing the Heritage Tram Tours fleet go from strength to strength!

Full information will be available ahead of each event and we sincerely hope that you approve of and will be able to come and support the ‘bigger & better’ Heritage Tram Tours in 2016. Thank you all so much for being part of our history this year, none of this would be possible without your support!

Ladies & Gentlemen, diaries at the ready as we are delighted to announce our full list of operating dates;

EVERY WEEKEND from 5th March to 6th November and DAILY 7th to 11th March, 4th to 22nd April, 30th May to 3rd June, 1st July to 1st September and 17th October to 4th November.

ENHANCED OPERATING WEEKENDS (GOLD SERVICE);

30th & 31st January WINTER GOLD
27th & 28th February WINTER GOLD & MODELS AT THE LYRIC HOTEL
26th, 27th & 28th March EASTER
30th April, 1st & 2nd May MAY DAY BANK HOLIDAY
28th, 29th & 30th May SPRING BANK HOLIDAY
18th & 19th June STARR GATE RUNNING WEEKEND
16th & 17th July FLEETWOOD TRAM SUNDAY WEEKEND
27th, 28th & 29th August AUGUST BANK HOLIDAY
24th & 25th September TRAMWAY ANNIVERSARY SPECTACULAR
26th & 27th November WINTER GOLD

ILLUMINATIONS TOURS 3rd September to 6th November.

Increasing the operation means that we need to increase the team. Opportunities will shortly be available for Tram Conductors and Drivers and we are also looking to recruit a team of Customer Service & Depot Tour Guides as we look towards future developments. An advert will appear very shortly giving full details so if you have free time and would like to be part of living history, please give some thought to volunteering with us.

So Blackpool Heritage Trams go from strength to strength.
